FIT MONSTER / MOTION STUDY 02

Make the movement feel natural.

3 experimental movements

Watch a full loop, then slow down at transitions. This study focuses on motion; characters still use existing models. Future refinement follows the approved character reference.

Which tools and motion sources did we find?

YouTube/Muscle & Motion3D squat and push-up tutorialsComparison links only; no original animation extracted or copied.
GitHub/Mesh2MotionCC0 continuous human animationPush-ups and jumping jacks retargeted to each character.
CMU motion-capture databaseHuman motion capture, 120 Hz raw dataOne squat made into a loop; arms adjusted for balance.
GitHub/OpenGym3DMulti-source exercise animation conversionUses its MIT conversion code, not non-commercial demonstration videos.
Google/MediaPipe33 landmarks and estimated 3D positions from videoA candidate for future video-to-motion work; occlusion and ground contact still need correction.
TensorFlow/MoveNet17 two-dimensional landmarksUseful for pose tracking, not a ready-to-use 3D animation.

What does this version achieve?

These movements sample continuous data with denoising, loop blending and ground-contact corrections. Compare first-version squats and push-ups; that version has no jumping jacks.

This is a motion-study sample, not a finalized lesson. Full coaching review and frame-by-frame video comparison remain incomplete. The captured squat is deep: inspect it from the side and practice only within your control. Jumping jacks involve landing impact.

Kenny uses the existing rig and Barbie an appearance prototype. They do not yet match the approved reference quality. That reference guides future faces, hair, proportions and clothing.
